Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And an especially happy one to our randomly selected, lucky winner who goes by the name of… Oona (who will likely celebrate tonight with dinner at “a lovely vegan restaurant”). Congrats Oona!

My husband and I celebrated early because we had the house all to ourselves this past weekend (kids were visiting friends). So we enjoyed candlelight dinners two nights in a row. Enjoyed having a sweet weekend together that felt like one big giant long date!

Jewel me! We usually do cards and a fun activity or something paying it forward together. For example, last year we decided that we’d sponsor a child in lieu of gifts. It’s been so worth it!

We’re approaching our 2nd Anniversary and going to take a trip in March. We decided to for-go traditional Valentines this year, with the promise that we’ll surprise each other with a sweet card sometime before our trip.
